Local Development Framework

Planning for Waverley's Future

The Local Development Framework (LDF) is the name for the suite of documents that will shape and guide how development takes place in the towns, villages and countryside of Waverley.

The documents of the Local Development Framework will over time replace the existing Local Plan.

Sitting at the heart of the Local Development Framework is the Core Strategy. The Core Strategy will set out a spatial vision for Waverley over the next 15 to 20 years. It aims to tackle the big issues that Waverley is likely to face over this time such as providing appropriate housing and employment opportunities in a sustainable manner.
