Watch out for wheelie bin cleaning scam

This male offers to clean bins after they have been emptied and asks for £20 to cover a number of cleanings. The male then does not return to clean bins and offers a range of excuses why he is not able to carry out the work.

Unfortunately, the male is plausible and very pleasant, and gives a home address in Horsell, Woking.

He has provided documentation stating that Waverley Borough Council has given approval for his work, which is not true as we do not endorse specific traders.

He also carries a piece of paper which he claims is signed by a Surrey Police officer. This is also a fake document, as we do not approve traders to operate.

This male is already under investigation by Surrey trading standards, and the Police in Woking.
