Learn to swim in the brand new learner pool, which opened this week at Farnham Leisure Centre.
Open to everybody, the new teaching pool is the ideal place to introduce children and adults alike to swimming, with lessons available to book through the Leisure Centre and 'fun and float' sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-12.30pm and 3-4.30pm.
Cllr Roger Steel (Con), Waverley's Councillor responsible for Leisure, says: "Even before we began the refurbishment of the Leisure Centre the learner pool was very popular. Now with the new pool, we have lessons booked up well in advance, and are aiming to accommodate those who previously had lessons booked, those on the waiting list, and, shortly, anybody else who might be interested."
The pool and changing rooms have received a face lift as part of the exciting £5million refurbishment programme that already includes a new enlarged gym and reception area, The new main pool and café will open shortly.
Lessons start on Monday 21 June.
