Licensing for pubs, clubs, off-licences and entertainment venues outline
The Licensing Act 2003 came into force in November 2005 and now governs all aspects of licensing for sale of alcohol, provision of regulated entertainment, and late night refreshment (hot food and/or drink sold after 11.00 pm and before 5.00 am).
Waverley Borough Council is the Local Licensing Authority for these activities, which also include films, theatre, live and recorded music. Please contact us for further details.
